Concerned Nigerian Group Convener and Socio-political Activist Deji Adeyanju has responded to the report that CJN Ariwoola disguised on wheelchair in London hotel for secret meeting with Bola Tinubu.
Recall CJN Ariwoola’s movement was revealed to The Gazette as Mr. Tinubu arrived in London for a “relaxation trip” after a hectic campaign that preceded his declaration as Nigeria’s president-elect last month.
Adeyanju doubts the Chief Justice of Nigeria visited any politician.
However, he noted that his departure coincided with Tinubu’s
“I do not believe the CJN went to see any politician or their surrogates abroad but it is suspicious he left the country within same time frame Tinubu did. Stop giving people opportunity to speculate.
He advised against politicizing the judiciary “Also stop dragging the judiciary into your political wars.”
