We’ll await judicial decision. I have family here, but I may return to Nigeria. Would I look for another job if I said I was leaving? I’m unhirable now.”

Chief Bode George, former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, said on Tuesday that he would wait for the presidential election petitions tribunal before leaving the country.
“The Morning Show” on Arise News Television reported this.
Recall Bode George had promised to leave Nigeria if Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress won the February 25 2023
The Independent National Electoral Commission declared Tinubu the winner, and the PDP leader has maintained his desire to move abroad.
In his words “I’m almost 80 and can choose to live in peace. Remember, I was in the Navy, so I can go back to any place and live in peace with water, electricity, security, and food for my children and grandchildren.”
“I’ve spent 25 years struggling, fighting, and trying to make this country work, so I should quit partisan politics soon.”
“I decide when I go. Still playing. We’ll await judicial decision. I have family here, but I may return to Nigeria. Would I look for another job if I said I was leaving? I’m unhirable now.”
