She talked about how the incident traumatized her parents.
She recognizes how fortunate she was to be able to provide children the better lives they deserved.
She wrote in a tweet: “Since I lost my only brother at the Lekki protest in 2020, my parents, particularly my mother, have experienced anguish. They had always been deserving of a better life, and I hoped to be able to give it to them. Eventually, I moved my parents into their new house today, and I cannot describe the joy I saw on their faces.”
