Controversial social critics and popular Nigerian Twitter Influencer, Daniel Regha has reacted to the clash between University of Benin, UNIBEN, students and soldiers of the Nigeria Army, describing the development as ”unwise”
Recall that students of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) on Thursday clashed with soldiers of the Nigeria Army over ATM issues.
However, Regha believes that beating up a soldier is not wise enough in a country where solider have immense power
In a Twitter post, he wrote “UNIBEN students beating up a soldier isn’t smart, the soldier was out of line but two wrongs don’t make a right”
He added that “people applauding the students are forgetting that this is Nigeria, where soldiers have immense power & may choose to retaliate. Be wise. Violence is never the answer.”
