Fuel subsidy is an organized crime and I will remove it immediately if I am elected President.

The Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi has vowed to remove fuel subsidy and double effort on education and health system if elected as president in the next presidential election

Obi described fuel subsidy add up as an organized crime, adding that he will put an end to the confusion in the Ports Administration in Nigeria.

In a Twitter post, the former Anambra State governor lamented that the Federal government allocated more funds to fuel subsidy

He wrote: “We are going to dismantle the confusion in the Ports Administration and get this country to work.

“Fuel subsidy is an organized crime and I will remove it immediately if I am elected President.

“Which reasonable country will spend more on subsidy than education, health etc. – PO”
