Osun: Ex- Guber candidate, Ogunbiyi pay tribute to Chief Bayo Ajeigbe

Former candidate of the Accord Party in the Osun State last gubernatorial election, Akin Ogunbiyi has described the late Chief Bayo Ajeigbe’s death as a massive loss.

Ogunbiyi, who described the Peoples Democratic, Party, PDP elder statesmen as as a “proponent of due said his death is a big loss to the party, state and entire nation.”

Hon. Olumide Osunlana in a statement issued on Sunday in Osogbo, it read ” On behalf of Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi the former governorship candidate of Accord and PDP chieftain, the entire IDERA DE commiserate with family of Pa BAYO AJEIGBE and the governor elect Senator Ademola Adeleke, Adeleke dynasty and Osun PDP, National PDP and the political associates over demise of the beloved party elder statesmen.”

He described Pa Bayo Ajeigbe death as a big loss to the party, state and entire nation noting that his wise counsel, borne out of humility, deep reflection, diligent studies and experience

He noted that the deceased lived a life of service and dedication for his people: “Pa Bayo Ajeigbe as an ardent believer in Democratic process lived to serve his people and the democratic ideals that he projected impacted greatly and provided a road map on the success PDP recorded in the state today.”

“His regularly and willingly listened to leaders and always offered good advice on the way forward will be missed.”

‘May God forgive Pa Bayo Ajeigbe misdeed and bless his eternal rest.” He prayed
