The killings of four Muslim males in the state of New Mexico, which authorities believe may be connected and may have been motivated by bias, have been condemned by Vice President Joe Biden.
“While we wait for a full investigation, my prayers are with the families of the victims, and my administration stands strongly with the Muslim community,” Vice President Joe Biden said on “I am angered and saddened by the horrific killings of four Muslim men in Albuquerque.” These vile acts have no place in the United States of America.
The police department in Albuquerque, which is the largest city in the state of New Mexico, announced on Saturday that they are looking into the slayings of three Muslim males, which they now believe may be connected to a fourth murder that occurred in the previous year.
According to a statement released by the Albuquerque Police Department, officers found the most recent victim late on Friday night. According to a local television station, his body was discovered in the neighborhood of a Lutheran Family Services office that assists those seeking asylum.
The individual could not be positively identified by the police; however, they did say that he was in his mid-20s, Muslim, and “a native from South Asia.”

A Muslim Pakistani man, age 27, whose body was discovered on August 1, and another Muslim Pakistani man, age 41, whose body was discovered on July 26, were the two previous victims.
According to the statement, detectives are currently investigating whether or not these killings are connected to the death of a Muslim man from Afghanistan who was killed on November 7, 2021, outside of the business he ran with his brother in Albuquerque. The statement said that the investigation is currently ongoing.
The police have requested that anyone who may have knowledge to contact a tip line, and they have stated that the FBI is supporting them with the investigation.
