Calm,Yet Courageous – Saraki Reacts To Daeth South Africa Anti-Apartheid Hero, Desmond Tutu

Dr. Abubarka Bukola Saraki, Nigeria Former Senate President has reacts to the death of South Africa’s Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who helped end apartheid in South Africa

Desmond who was awarded the Nobel prize in 1984 for his role in the struggle to end the apartheid system died aged 90

Reacting to his demise, Saraki described Tutu as a calm and courageous being who stood at the forefront of the liberation

On Twitter, he wrote:”Calm, yet courageous, Archbishop Desmond Tutu was a faith-based leader who always spoke truth to power. In his homeland, South Africa, he stood at the forefront of the liberation struggle. Across the continent and the world, he lent his voice to human rights issues — helping to make the world a better place.”
